Overview

DESCRIPTION



· The TCTH0xxxE Series is a CMOS linear integrated circuit designed for over-temperature detection using an external PTC thermistor.

· It outputs an abnormal-state signal when over-temperature is detected based on the changing resistor value of the PTC thermistor.

· The IC features low current consumption with a typical output current of 1 μA to the PTC thermistor and a total current consumption of 1.8 μA.

· The FLAG signal output can be configured as either Push-pull or Open-drain type.

· The IC offers options for Auto retry or Latch function for the abnormal signal.

· It is available in a compact ESV package (1.6 mm x 1.6 mm x 0.55 mm).



FEATURES



· Selectable PTC output current: 1 μA (TCTH01xxE) or 10 μA (TCTH02xxE).

· High PTC output current accuracy: ±8% (VDD = 3.3 V, 25 °C).

· Low current consumption: 1.8 μA (TCTH01xxE) or 11.3 μA (TCTH02xxE).

· FLAG signal latch function available (TCTH0x2xE).

· FLAG signal output options: Push-pull (TCTH0xxAE) or Open-drain (TCTH0xxBE).

· Standard ESV (SOT-553) package: 1.6 mm x 1.6 mm x 0.55 mm, 2.98 mg typical weight.
