DESCRIPTION
· The TEA1733CT is a cost-effective SMPS controller IC designed for flyback topologies, operating in fixed frequency mode with frequency jitter to minimize EMI. It includes slope compensation for CCM, OverPower Protection (OPP), and supports various protections like UVP, OVP, and OTP with minimal external components. It optimizes efficiency across the load range by reducing switching frequency at low power levels and is suitable for power supplies up to 75W.
FEATURES
· Enables low-cost SMPS applications with a wide input voltage range (12V to 30V).
· Features very low supply current during start-up (10µA) and normal operation (0.5mA without load).
· Includes overpower compensation, adjustable overpower time-out, and restart timer.
· Fixed switching frequency with jitter for EMI reduction and frequency reduction at low power for efficiency.
· Slope compensation for CCM and adjustable OverCurrent Protection (OCP) trip level.
