Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The TEA1733LT/N1 is a low-cost SMPS controller IC designed for flyback topologies, operating in fixed frequency mode with frequency jitter to reduce EMI.
· It includes slope compensation for CCM operation and OverPower Protection (OPP) for limited overpower situations.
· Protection features like UVP, OVP, and OTP can be implemented with minimal external components.
· Optimized for high efficiency across the load range, it supports power requirements up to 75 W with low external component count.



FEATURES

· Enables low-cost SMPS applications with a wide input voltage range (12 V to 30 V).
· Low supply current during start-up (10 µA) and normal operation (0.5 mA without load).
· Features overpower compensation, adjustable overpower time-out, and restart timer.
· Fixed switching frequency with jitter for EMI reduction and frequency reduction at low power for efficiency.
· Slope compensation for CCM and adjustable OverCurrent Protection (OCP) trip level.
