DESCRIPTION

· The TEA1833LTS is a cost-effective SMPS controller IC designed for flyback topologies, operating in peak current and frequency control mode.

· It incorporates frequency jitter to minimize EMI and includes slope compensation for CCM operation.

· The IC supports OverPower Protection up to 200% for a limited duration and can implement mains undervoltage, output OVP, and OTP with minimal external components.

· It maintains high efficiency across the load range by reducing switching frequency at low power levels and operates at a fixed frequency at high output power.

FEATURES

· Enables low-cost SMPS applications with a wide input voltage range from 10.5 V to 36 V.

· Features integrated OVP on the VCC pin and accurate OVP via the ISENSE pin.

· Includes a dedicated burst mode for a low VCC capacitor value and very low supply current during start-up and restart (11 µA typical).

· Offers adaptive internal overpower time-out and overpower protection with high/low line compensation.
