Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The 74LVC16245A and 74LVCH16245A are 16-bit bus transceivers with 3-state outputs, configurable as two 8-bit or one 16-bit transceiver. They feature two output enables (1OE, 2OE) and two direction control inputs (1DIR, 2DIR). Inputs are 5 V tolerant, allowing use in mixed 3.3 V and 5 V environments. Schmitt-trigger inputs ensure tolerance to slow rise and fall times. The device supports partial power-down with I OFF circuitry to prevent backflow current. The 74LVCH16245A includes bus hold on data inputs, eliminating the need for external pull-up resistors.

· IOFF circuitry enables partial power-down mode.
· Bus hold on data inputs (74LVCH16245A only).
· Complies with JEDEC standards: JESD8-7A, JESD8-5A, JESD8-C/JESD36.
· ESD protection: HBM exceeds 2000 V, CDM exceeds 1000 V.
· Operating temperature range: -40 °C to +125 °C.
