DESCRIPTION

· The AD5410/AD5420 are cost-effective, precision, fully integrated 12-/16-bit converters with a programmable current source output, tailored for industrial process control applications.

· They feature programmable output current ranges of 4 mA to 20 mA, 0 mA to 20 mA, or an overrange of 0 mA to 24 mA, with open-circuit protection.

· Operates with a power supply (AVDD) range from 10.8 V to 60 V and offers output loop compliance from 0 V to AVDD − 2.5 V.

· Includes a flexible serial interface compatible with SPI, MICROWIRE™, QSPI™, and DSP, operable in 3-wire mode to reduce digital isolation needs in isolated applications.

· Features a power-on reset function and an asynchronous CLEAR pin to set the output to the low end of the selected current range, with a typical total unadjusted error of ±0.01% FSR.
