DESCRIPTION

· The DAC8531 is a low-power, single, 16-bit buffered voltage output Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC).
· It features an on-chip precision output amplifier enabling rail-to-rail output swing.
· Utilizes a versatile three-wire serial interface compatible with SPI™, QSPI™, Microwire™, and DSP interfaces, operating up to 30MHz.
· Requires an external reference voltage to set the DAC output range.
· Includes a power-on reset circuit ensuring the DAC output starts at 0V.
· Features a power-down mode reducing current consumption to 200nA at 5V.
· Available in MSOP-8 and 3x3 SON-8 packages.
