DESCRIPTION

· The ADBMS2950 and ADBMS2952 are battery pack monitors, while the ADBMS2951 serves as a link monitor for electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as other current or voltage sensing applications.

· These devices measure battery pack current by sensing voltage drop across a shunt resistor with minimal offset and detect overcurrent conditions using fast ADCs with digital comparators.

· They feature 12 buffered high-impedance inputs for voltage measurements, enabling monitoring of pack voltages, temperatures, HV-Link voltages, chassis isolation, and contactor/fuse states.

· The devices include six digital outputs (GPOs) for controlling high-voltage transistors and four GPIOs configurable as I2C or SPI controllers for interfacing with external peripherals.

· Communication options include SPI, isolated isoSPI, and daisy-chaining capability, with the ADBMS2952 supporting SPI only.
