DESCRIPTION

· The FMS3818 is a cost-effective triple D/A converter designed for high-speed graphics and video applications.

· It converts CMOS-level inputs to analog current outputs capable of driving 25–37.5 Ω loads, equivalent to doubly-terminated 50–75 Ω loads.

· Features a sync current that follows SYNC input timing, added to the IOG output.

· The BLANK function overrides RGB inputs, setting IOG, IOB, and IOR currents to zero when BLANK = L.

· Requires minimal external components: current reference resistor, current output load resistors, bypass capacitors, and decoupling capacitors.

· Packaged in a 48-lead LQFP and fabricated using CMOS technology, with performance guaranteed from 0 to 70°C.
