DESCRIPTION

· The ISL54103 DDC Accelerator (DDCA) is a dual active pull-up bus terminator designed to enhance data transmission speed on DDC 2-wire serial bus interfaces.

· It detects rising input transitions using two internal voltage references and comparators per channel.

· The DDCA activates a boost pull-up current source when the voltage crosses the first threshold (VTRIPL) and deactivates it after crossing the second threshold (VTRIPH).

· It maintains an active pull-up current of 275µA and reduces it to 100µA when both channels are HIGH to save power.

· The DDCA operates reliably across a power supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and includes a noise filter to prevent false triggering.

· It supports bus frequencies up to 100kHz and provides 8kV ESD protection on SDA and SCL pins.
