DESCRIPTION

· The ISL98002 is a 3-Channel, 8-bit Analog Front End (AFE) designed for digitizing analog YPbPr video signals and RGB graphics signals from various sources like DVD players, digital VCRs, video set-top boxes, and personal computers.

· It supports HDTV resolutions up to 1080p and PC monitor resolutions up to UXGA, with programmable input bandwidth for sharp images.

· Features include a fast-responding digital PLL (DPLL) for low jitter, integrated HSYNC and SOG processing, and automatic Macrovision® compliance.

· The device offers ease of use with features like automatic Black Level Compensation (ABLC™) and single-bit switching between RGB and YPbPr signals.
