DESCRIPTION

· The LDS6100/6120 family of PureTouch® controllers from IDT® is designed for touch-based input controls like sliders, scroll wheels, and buttons.

· Features a low-power programmable capacitance-to-digital converter (CDC) supporting up to 20 sensor inputs, with 10 configurable as direct communication mode (DCM) outputs.

· Integrated switch matrix directs touch inputs to a sigma-delta CDC for sensing changes in external sensor arrays.

· On-chip calibration logic ensures robust performance by continuously monitoring and adjusting touch sensitivity.

· Proprietary noise-filtering algorithms prevent false sensor activation in noisy environments.

· Offers SPI-compatible, I2C-compatible, and SMBus-compatible interfaces, selectable in real-time using I/F select pins.

· Includes general-purpose input/output (GPIO) and interrupt outputs for additional host processor communication.
