DESCRIPTION

· The LDS6200 Family of capacitive touch controllers streamlines human-machine interfaces by enabling touch-based inputs like buttons, sliders, and scroll wheels. It uses a sigma-delta capacitance-to-digital converter and noise-filtering algorithms to reliably detect small capacitance changes, replacing mechanical inputs. On-chip automatic calibration adjusts for environmental factors like temperature, humidity, and dust. The family includes four products with up to 8 capacitive sensor inputs, supporting supply voltages from 1.65 to 5.5V and offering I2C-compatible serial interfaces, GPIO, and VDDIO support. Operating power is typically less than 125uW, and packages include 16-pin and 20-pin TQFN and SOIC options.
