DESCRIPTION

· The MAX77658 is a highly-integrated PMIC designed for low-power applications, featuring a SIMO buck-boost regulator, two LDOs, a configurable linear charger, and a fuel gauge with the ModelGauge™ m5 EZ algorithm.

· It supports Li+ batteries with capacities from 10mAhr to 1Ahr and includes battery temperature monitoring for safety.

· The device offers three GPIOs, an analog multiplexer for power monitoring, and a bidirectional I2C interface for configuration and status checks.

· It is available in a compact 9.55mm² wafer-level package (WLP).

FEATURES

· 3-output SIMO buck-boost regulator with a wide voltage range (0.5V to 5.5V) and up to 750mA total load current.

· Two 150mA LDOs with ripple rejection, configurable as load switches.

· Smart Power Selector™ Li+/Li-Poly charger with programmable fast-charge current (7.5mA to 300mA) and battery regulation voltage (3.6V to 4.6V).

· Fuel gauge with ModelGauge™ m5 EZ algorithm, requiring no calibration and offering robust performance against battery variations.

· Low power consumption with shutdown current of 1μA and operating current of 11.2μA.
