DESCRIPTION

· PCA9450 is a single-chip Power Management IC (PMIC) designed for i.MX 8M family processors.
· Supports 1-cell Li-Ion/Li-polymer battery and 5V adapter applications.
· Features six step-down regulators, five LDOs, one 400 mA load switch, and a 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator driver.
· Three buck regulators support Dynamic Voltage Scaling (DVS) with programmable ramping and remote sense.
· Operates across -40°C to 105°C ambient temperature range.
· Available in three versions: PCA9450AA (i.MX 8M Mini), PCA9450B (i.MX 8M Nano), PCA9450C (i.MX 8M Plus).
· Packaged in a 56-pin HVQFN, 7mm x 7mm, 0.4mm pitch.



FEATURES

· Six high-efficiency step-down regulators: three 3A buck regulators with DVS and remote sense.
· One 3A buck regulator and two 2A buck regulators.
· Five linear regulators: two 10mA, one 150mA, one 200mA, and one 300mA LDOs.
· Supports DDR4/LPDDR4/DDR3L memory types via UBOOT configuration.
· 400 mA load switch with built-in active discharge resistor.
· 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator driver and buffer output.



APPLICATIONS

· Power management for i.MX 8M family processors in portable and non-portable applications.
· Suitable for devices requiring efficient power regulation and memory support.
· Ideal for applications needing low quiescent current LDOs for Secure Non-Volatile Storage (SNVS).
· Used in systems requiring bidirectional voltage level translation and I2C level translation.
· Supports SD card power supply with a 3.3V load switch.
