DESCRIPTION

· The FN8340 is a 4-channel WD1 (960H)/D1 compatible video decoder and audio codec with an integrated video encoder, designed for advanced video processing applications.

· Supports WD1 (960H) and D1 video decoding with programmable channels.
· Automatic detection of NTSC and PAL formats.
· Software-selectable analog inputs with built-in anti-alias filter.
· Four 10-bit ADCs and analog clamping for CVBS input.
· Programmable image enhancement features including peaking and CTI.
· Integrated five audio ADCs and one audio DAC with multi-channel audio output.
· Supports I2S/DSP Master/Slave interface for audio processing.
· Programmable audio sample rates from 8kHz to 48kHz.
· Includes a two-wire MPU serial bus interface and integrated clock PLL.
· Features power save and power down modes for low power consumption.
· Operates with a single 27MHz crystal and supports 3.3V tolerant I/O.
