DESCRIPTION

· The FCT16244T is a 16-Bit Buffer/Line Driver designed for high-speed, low-power bus interface and signal buffering applications.

· Features flow-through pin organization and shrink packaging for simplified board layout.

· All inputs include hysteresis for improved noise margin.

· Three-state controls enable independent 4-bit, 8-bit, or combined 16-bit operation.

· Suitable for driving high capacitance loads (>200pF) and low impedance backplanes.

· Supports power-off disable capability for live insertion in backplane interfaces.

· Plug-in replacement for 54/74ABT16244 with higher speed, lower noise, and lower power dissipation.
