DESCRIPTION

· The CAT5113 is a single digital potentiometer designed to replace mechanical potentiometers.
· It is ideal for automated adjustments in high-volume production lines and applications where equipment is difficult to access or located in hazardous or remote environments.
· It features a 100-tap series resistor array connected between RH and RL terminals, with a wiper position controlled by an up/down counter and decoder.
· The wiper setting is stored in non-volatile memory, ensuring it is not lost during power-down and is automatically reinstated when power is restored.
· The wiper can be adjusted to test new system values without affecting the stored setting.
· Control is achieved through three input pins: CS, U/D, and INC.
