Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The LMZ23610 SIMPLE SWITCHER® power module is a step-down DC-DC solution capable of driving up to 10-A load.

· It accepts an input voltage rail between 6V and 36V and delivers an adjustable output voltage as low as 0.8V.

· The module requires only two external resistors and three external capacitors for a complete power solution.

· It features a reliable design with protection features including thermal shutdown, input undervoltage lockout, output overvoltage protection, short circuit protection, and output current limit.

· The sync input allows synchronization over the 350- to 600-kHz switching frequency range.



FEATURES

· Integrated Shielded Inductor for simple PCB layout.

· Frequency Synchronization Input (350 kHz to 600 kHz).

· Current Sharing Capability for higher current applications.

· Flexible Startup Sequencing using External Soft-start, Tracking, and Precision Enable.

· Protection against Inrush Currents and Faults such as Input UVLO and Output Short Circuit.

· High Efficiency up to 92%, reducing system heat generation.

· Low Radiated Emissions (EMI) tested to EN55022 Class B Standard.

· Only 7 External Components required, with low output voltage ripple and no external heat sink needed.
