DESCRIPTION

· The MAX7313 is an I2C-compatible 16-port I/O expander with LED intensity control, interrupt, and hot-insertion protection.

· It supports 16 I/O ports configurable as open-drain outputs or logic inputs, with a 17th port for interrupt or general-purpose output.

· Features integrated PWM current drive with 8-bit control, offering global and individual intensity adjustments.

· Supports two-phase LED blinking with independent blink timing for each output.

· Operates from 2V to 3.6V and is 5.5V tolerant.
