DESCRIPTION

· The MAX7315 is an I2C-/SMBus-compatible serial interfaced peripheral with 8 I/O ports.

· Each port can be configured as an open-drain output or a logic input with transition detection.

· Features include PWM current drive, independent blink timing, and hot insertion support.

· Controlled via a 2-wire I2C/SMBus interface, configurable to one of 64 I2C addresses.
