DESCRIPTION

· The MAX7320 is a 2-wire serial-interfaced peripheral with eight push-pull outputs and selectable power-up logic states.

· It features a +5.5V tolerant RST input to clear the serial interface and terminate I2C communication.

· The device supports 16 I2C slave addresses using two address inputs with four-level logic.

· It is available in 16-pin QSOP and TQFN packages and operates over the automotive temperature range (-40°C to +125°C).

FEATURES

· 400kHz, +5.5V-tolerant I2C serial interface.

· Operating voltage range from +1.71V to +5.5V.

· Eight push-pull output ports with selectable power-up logic states.

· RST input clears the serial interface and terminates any serial transaction.

· AD0 and AD2 inputs allow selection from 16 slave addresses.
