DESCRIPTION

· The PCA9698 is a 40-bit parallel I/O port expander for I2C-bus applications, organized in 5 banks of 8 I/Os.

· It supports Fast-mode Plus (Fm+) with frequencies up to 1 MHz and can drive up to 40 LEDs directly.

· Features include configurable totem-pole or open-drain outputs, interrupt masking, and logic state inversion.

· Includes an open-drain interrupt output pin (INT) and an Output Enable pin (OE) for PWM control.

· Supports 'GPIO All Call' command for simultaneous programming of multiple devices.

· Available in 56-pin TSSOP and HVQFN packages, operating from -40°C to +85°C.
