DESCRIPTION

· The SN65220, SN65240, and SN75240 are transient voltage suppressors (TVS) designed for USB low and full-speed ports. · SN65220 is dual, while SN65240 and SN75240 are quadruple unidirectional TVS. · These devices protect against electrical noise transients. · Not suitable for high-speed USB 2.0 due to 35 pF input capacitance.

FEATURES

· Protects submicron 3-V or 5-V circuits from noise transients. · ESD protection exceeds 15-kV human body model and 2-kV machine model. · Available in WCSP chip-scale package. · Stand-off voltage: 6 V (minimum). · Low current leakage: 1-µA maximum at 6 V. · Low capacitance: 35-pF (typical).

· USB full-speed host, HUB, or peripheral. · Ports requiring transient voltage suppression.
