· The VSC7157 is a 36-PHY SAS edge/fanout expander compliant with ANSI T10 SAS 1.0 and 1.1 specifications.
· Designed for embedded applications in midrange and enterprise storage environments.
· Features an internal nonblocking cross-bar matrix for active port expansion up to 36 PHYs.
· Includes programmable output preemphasis and input signal equalization for high signal quality.
· Equipped with an on-board CPU for SMP management and enclosure management functions.
