DESCRIPTION

· The AP3036B is an inductor-based DC/DC converter designed to drive up to eight white LEDs in series for backlight applications.
· It uses a constant frequency 1.0MHz PWM control scheme, allowing the use of small external components.
· The IC integrates a Schottky diode in the boost circuit and includes a disable pin for system flexibility.
· It features output overvoltage protection, clamping the output voltage in abnormal conditions.
· Available in a standard SOT26 package.
