Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The TLC5947 is a 24-channel, constant-current sink LED driver with 12-bit PWM grayscale control.

· Each channel is individually adjustable with 4096 PWM steps, controlled via a serial interface port.

· Features thermal shutdown (TSD) to protect against overheating, with automatic restart upon temperature normalization.

· Operates with a 4-MHz internal oscillator and supports a 30-MHz data transfer rate in standalone mode.



FEATURES

· 24 channels with constant-current sink output, capable of up to 30 mA per channel.

· 12-bit (4096 steps) PWM grayscale control for precise LED brightness adjustment.

· CMOS logic level I/O with a 30-MHz data transfer rate in standalone mode and 15-MHz in cascaded devices.

· Thermal shutdown (TSD) function for over-temperature protection and automatic restart.

· 4-channel grouped delay to prevent inrush current and reduce noise.



APPLICATIONS

· Static LED displays and message boards.

· Amusement illumination and TV backlighting.

· LED power-supply voltage up to 30V, with VCC ranging from 3.0V to 5.5V.
