DESCRIPTION

· The TPS61158 is a boost converter designed to drive up to 8 LEDs in series, featuring a 30V-rated integrated switch FET and power diode.
· It operates at a fixed switching frequency of 750 kHz to reduce output ripple and improve conversion efficiency, allowing for the use of smaller external components.
· The device supports both 1-wire digital interface (EasyScale™ protocol) and PWM dimming control for LED current regulation.
· It includes integrated loop compensation, built-in soft start, and open LED protection to prevent output voltage from exceeding maximum ratings.
