DESCRIPTION

· The ICL5102 is a 2nd generation PFC + Resonant Half-Bridge Controller designed for LED Drivers, featuring an integrated two-stage combination controller to reduce external components and optimize BOM and form factor.

FEATURES

· Integrated PFC controller with CrCM + DCM and Resonant HB controller with fixed or variable switching frequency control.
· Supports up to 500 KHz HB switching frequency and soft-start frequency up to 1.3 MHz.
· Resonant HB Active Burst Mode ensures power limitation and low standby power < 300mW.
· Universal AC input voltage support (90 to 305 V rms).
· High system efficiency up to 94% and low THD < 5% down to 30% nominal load.
· Comprehensive protection features including input brown-out, PFC bus over-voltage, PFC over-current, output OVP, OCP, OPP, capacitive mode, and external OTP.
· Small DSO-16 package with integrated high side MOSFET driver.

APPLICATIONS

· Suitable for offline LED Drivers for commercial and industrial lighting up to 350 W.
