DESCRIPTION

· KTD3116-1/KTD3117-1 is a high-efficiency step-up DC-DC converter designed for white LED backlighting in medium to small LCD panels.

· It operates within an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, suitable for 1-cell lithium-ion batteries or 5V regulated supplies.

· The device integrates a 40V Power MOSFET, compensation, and soft start circuitry, reducing the need for external components.

· It supports PWM dimming and includes various protection features such as cycle-by-cycle current limit, output over-voltage, LED fault protection, and thermal shutdown.

· Available in a RoHS compliant, Green 9-lead 1.2 mm x 1.2 mm WLCSP package.
