DESCRIPTION

· The TLD5097EL is a versatile DC/DC boost controller designed for LED driving, featuring built-in diagnosis and protection.

· It supports multiple topologies including Boost, Buck, Buck-Boost, SEPIC, and Flyback by adjusting external components.

· The device drives a low side n-channel power MOSFET from an internal 5 V linear regulator.

· It offers adjustable switching frequency from 100 kHz to 500 kHz and can synchronize to an external clock source.

· The controller includes analog and PWM dimming capabilities and an enable function reducing shutdown current to <10 µA.

· It employs a current mode control scheme for stable regulation with minimal external compensation.

· Integrated soft start feature limits current peak and voltage overshoot at startup, suitable for harsh automotive environments.
