DESCRIPTION

· The TS3000B3A is a digital temperature sensor with an accuracy of up to ±0.5°C, designed for high-precision temperature readout applications.

· It complies with JEDEC JC42.4 Component Specification and features user-programmable registers for setting critical, upper, and lower temperature limits, as well as hysteresis settings.

· The sensor communicates temperature events via an open-drain Event pin, configurable as active-low or active-high for thermostat operation or as an interrupt output for microprocessor-based systems.

· It utilizes a 2-wire I2C/SMBus serial interface, supporting up to eight devices on the bus.

FEATURES

· Single supply voltage range: 3V to 3.6V.

· Accurate timeout support, meeting SMBus specifications of 25ms (min) to 35ms (max).

· Timeout support in all modes including active and shutdown modes.

· Schmitt trigger and noise filtering on bus inputs.

· 2-wire serial interface supporting 10-400 kHz I2C/SMBus.

· Available in DFN-8 and TDFN-8 packages.

· Temperature conversion to digital data with a maximum sampling rate of 100ms.

· Selectable hysteresis settings: 0, 1.5°C, 3°C, 6°C.

· Programmable resolution from 0.0625°C to 0.5°C.

· Accuracy: ±0.5°C/±1°C (typ./max.) from -20°C to +125°C.
