DESCRIPTION

· The A6262 is a linear, programmable current regulator designed to drive high brightness LED arrays with up to 100 mA per output.
· It features four outputs, each capable of delivering a regulated LED current with 5% accuracy, set by a single reference resistor.
· The device ensures current matching better than 10% across each string without the need for ballast resistors.
· It includes an enable input for PWM control and a debounced switch input for on/off toggling.
· The A6262 is optimized for driving 1 to 3 LEDs per string, supporting up to 4 strings at 100 mA each.
· It provides short-to-ground protection and a temperature monitor to adjust drive current based on chip temperature.
· Available in 10-pin MSOP and 16-pin TSSOP packages with exposed pads for enhanced thermal dissipation.



FEATURES

· AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
· Capable of delivering a total LED drive current up to 400 mA.
· Operates with a supply voltage range from 6 to 50 V.
· Features low dropout voltage and includes LED output short-to-ground and thermal protection.
· Provides an on/off toggle switch input and an enable input for PWM control.
· Includes a current slew rate limit during PWM and sets current via a reference resistor.
· Suitable for the automotive temperature range.



APPLICATIONS

· Ideal for automotive LED array driving applications such as dome lights, map lights, space lighting, and mood lighting.
· Can be used in systems requiring PWM dimming input from a lighting control unit (LCU).
