DESCRIPTION
· The AP2063 is a white LED driver IC designed for camera flash applications in portable equipment.
· It integrates a current mode synchronous boost DC-DC converter and supports up to 2A current sources.
· The device includes a switching FET, synchronous rectifier, and supports a small size multilayer inductor with a 4MHz switching frequency.
· It features seven protection mechanisms including inductor current limitation, input voltage detection, and thermal protection.
· Programmable features include flash current, torch current, inductor limit current, and flash on-time via I2C interface.
· Compact package size of 1.56mm x 1.64mm with a 0.5mm pitch, 9-pins.
