DESCRIPTION

· The ICM7245 is an 8-character, 16-segment LED display decoder driver designed for microprocessor compatibility.

· It includes a 64-character ASCII decoder, 8x6 memory, high power drivers, and multiplex scan circuitry.

· Supports both Sequential and Random Access modes for data entry.

· Features a CLR pin for memory clearance and a DISPlay FULL signal for device cascading.

FEATURES

· Operates on a single +3.3V supply.

· Drives up to 8 characters with 16-segment fonts including a decimal point.

· Includes internal pull-up resistors of 136 Ω.

· Directly drives LED common cathode displays and is cascadable without additional hardware.

· Offers a standby feature for low power mode and display off.

· On-chip includes character and segment drivers, MUX scan circuitry, 8x6 static memory, and a 64-character ASCII font generator.
