DESCRIPTION

· The L6910/L6910A is a PWM controller designed for high-performance DC-DC conversion from 3.3V, 5V, and 12V buses.

· It features an adjustable output voltage down to 0.9V, with higher voltages achievable using an external voltage divider.

· The device includes high peak current gate drivers for fast switching, supporting output currents exceeding 20A.

· It provides protections against overcurrent and overvoltage, with an internal crowbar that activates the low-side MOSFET during overvoltage detection.

· In overcurrent conditions, the system operates in HICCUP mode by discharging the soft start capacitor.

FEATURES

· Operates with a supply voltage from 5V to 12V.

· Capable of up to 1.3A gate current.

· Adjustable output voltage with a 0.9V ±1.5% voltage reference.

· Voltage mode PWM control with very fast load transient response.
