DESCRIPTION

· The LT8710 is a synchronous PWM DC/DC controller designed for various power supply topologies including boost, SEPIC, inverting, and flyback configurations.
· It features a rail-to-rail output current monitor and control, making it suitable for current-limited applications such as battery charging.
· The device includes a FLAG pin for power good indication or C/10 indication, enhancing battery voltage management.
· It supports a switching frequency range from 100kHz to 750kHz, adjustable via an external resistor or synchronization to an external clock.
· The EN/FBIN pin allows for input voltage regulation and adjustable undervoltage lockout, protecting high impedance input supplies.
· Additional features include frequency foldback and soft-start, all housed in a 20-lead TSSOP package.
