DESCRIPTION

· The LTC3891 is a high-performance, low IQ, 60V synchronous step-down DC/DC controller designed for driving all N-channel synchronous power MOSFET stages.

· It features a constant frequency current mode architecture with a phase-lockable frequency up to 750kHz and a no-load quiescent current of 50μA, enhancing battery life in portable applications.

· The device includes OPTI-LOOP compensation for optimizing transient response across various output capacitance and ESR values, a precision 0.8V reference, and a power good output indicator.

· It supports a wide input supply range from 4V to 60V, suitable for various intermediate bus voltages and battery chemistries, with an output voltage programmable from 0.8V to 24V.
