DESCRIPTION
· The LM5146-Q1 is a 100-V synchronous buck controller designed for high input voltage sources or rails with high voltage transients, reducing the need for external surge suppression components.
· It features a high-side switch minimum on-time of 40 ns, enabling large step-down ratios and direct conversion from 48-V nominal input to low-voltage rails.
· It operates during input voltage dips as low as 5.5 V, making it suitable for high-performance 48-V battery automotive applications, ADAS, and HEV/EV systems.
· It supports Forced-PWM (FPWM) operation to minimize EMI and user-selectable diode emulation for lower current consumption at light-load conditions.
· The adjustable switching frequency up to 1 MHz can be synchronized to an external clock source for noise-sensitive applications.

· Inherent protection features including adjustable output voltage soft start, hiccup-mode overcurrent protection, input UVLO with hysteresis, VCC and gate-drive UVLO protection, precision enable input, open-drain PGOOD indicator, and thermal shutdown protection with hysteresis.
· 20-pin VQFN package with wettable flanks.
