DESCRIPTION



· The LM5118 is a wide voltage range Buck-Boost switching regulator controller designed for high-performance, cost-efficient Buck-Boost regulators with minimal external components.

· It maintains output voltage regulation when the input voltage is either less than or greater than the output voltage, making it suitable for automotive applications.

· The device operates as a buck regulator when the input voltage is sufficiently greater than the output voltage and transitions to buck-boost mode as the input voltage approaches the output voltage.

· It features emulated current mode control, reducing noise sensitivity and allowing reliable control of very small duty cycles in high input voltage applications.

· The LM5118 includes drivers for high-side buck MOSFET and low-side boost MOSFET, and is available in a 20-pin HTSSOP package with an exposed die attach pad for thermal dissipation.
