DESCRIPTION

· The MAX16833 series are peak current-mode-controlled LED drivers for various topologies including boost, buck-boost, SEPIC, flyback, and high-side buck.
· They feature a dimming driver for wide-range dimming control with fast PWM current switching.
· These ICs support both PWM and analog dimming, with high-side LED current sensing.
· They operate over a 5V to 65V supply range and include a 3A gate driver for power MOSFETs.
· Unique feature allows the positive terminal of the LED string to be shorted to either input terminal without damage.

FEATURES

· Wide input voltage range from +5V to +65V with a maximum 65V boost output.
· Integrated high-side pMOS dimming MOSFET driver for single-wire LED connection.
