DESCRIPTION

· The MAX25613 is a single-channel, high-current IR LED driver designed for automotive Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS).

· It supports an input voltage range from 5V to 48V and can drive LED strings with a maximum output voltage of 55V.

· Utilizes Analog Devices' proprietary architecture to enhance LED drive capability while reducing peak current on the battery harness.

· Features high-side current sensing to protect against shorts to ground or battery input.

· Includes PWM and ICTRL inputs for LED on/off control and analog dimming, respectively.

· Equipped with a fault flag for diagnosing LED short to battery, short to ground, open LED, and thermal shutdown conditions.

· Incorporates spread-spectrum modulation for improved electromagnetic compatibility.

· Available in 20-pin side-wettable TQFN or TSSOP packages, operating within the automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
