DESCRIPTION

· The NCA9539 is a low-voltage 16-bit I²C and SMBus I/O expander with interrupt output, reset pin, and configuration registers.

· It operates within a wide voltage range of 1.65 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for various low-power applications.

· The device provides 16 GPIOs that can be configured as inputs or outputs, with polarity inversion capability.

· It features an open-drain interrupt output that activates upon GPIO state changes, reducing the need for continuous I²C communication.

· The NCA9539 includes a reset pin for restoring default settings without power cycling.
