DESCRIPTION

· The NCA9555 is a low-voltage 16-bit I²C and SMBus I/O expander with interrupt output and configuration registers.
· It operates within a voltage range of 1.65 V to 5.5 V, featuring default pull-up resistors on GPIOs.
· Designed for applications requiring additional I/O ports with minimal interconnections, such as ACPI power switches, sensors, push buttons, LEDs, and fan control.
· Includes 8-bit input, output, configuration, and polarity inversion registers, with all IOs defaulting to inputs at power-up.
· Features an open-drain interrupt output activated by changes in GPIO states.
· Allows configuration of up to eight devices on the same I²C-bus/SMBus using three address pins (A0, A1, A2).
