DESCRIPTION
· The S-8365/8366 Series is a CMOS step-up switching regulator controller with PWM control (S-8365) or PWM/PFM switching control (S-8366).
· It includes a reference voltage source, oscillation circuit, error amplifier, phase compensation circuit, timer latch short-circuit protection, and control circuits.
· Ideal for high efficiency and high output current applications with an external Nch Power MOSFET.
· Supports ceramic capacitors for output and comes in compact packages for high-density mounting.
FEATURES
· Low operation voltage starting at 1.1 V (1 mA).
· Input voltage range: 1.8 V to 5.5 V.
· Oscillation frequencies: 1.2 MHz and 600 kHz.
· Reference voltage: 0.6 V ±2.0%.
· Soft start function: 7 ms typical.
· Low current consumption: 70 µA typical when switching off.
· Duty ratio: 28% to 90% depending on frequency.
· Shutdown function with max current consumption of 1.0 µA.
· External components include inductor, diode, capacitor, and transistor.
· Timer latch short-circuit protection with selectable delay time.
· UVLO function selectable for each product.
· Lead-free, Sn 100%, halogen-free.
