DESCRIPTION

· The SKY81279 is a high-efficiency, 1.5A boost converter with a programmable constant current sink, designed for LED photo flash applications in single-cell Li-ion powered products.

· It features a 2.0MHz switching frequency, allowing for small external components, and uses Skyworks' AS 2Cwire™ interface for control and configuration.

· The device includes a thermal management system, inrush current protection, and a shutdown feature reducing quiescent current to less than 1.0 μA.
