DESCRIPTION

· The ISL23328 is a volatile, low voltage, low noise, low power, 128-Tap, dual digitally controlled potentiometer (DCP) with an I2C Bus interface.

· It integrates two DCP cores, wiper switches, and control logic on a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit.

· Each potentiometer has a volatile Wiper Register (WRi) that controls the wiper position, which defaults to mid-scale (64 tap position) at power-on.

· The device supports a VLOGIC pin for low bus operation down to 1.2V, independent of VCC.

FEATURES

· Two potentiometers per package with 128 resistor taps.

· Total resistance options: 10kΩ, 50kΩ, or 100kΩ.

· I2C serial interface with three address pins allowing up to eight devices per bus.

· Power supply range: VCC = 1.7V to 5.5V, VLOGIC = 1.2V to 5.5V.

· Low power consumption: 3µA standby @ 5V, 1.7µA @ 1.7V.

· Shutdown mode for reduced power consumption.

· Wiper resistance: 70Ω typical @ 3.3V.

· Extended industrial temperature range: -40°C to +125°C.

· Available in 14 Ld TSSOP or 16 Ld UTQFN packages, Pb-free (RoHS Compliant).
