DESCRIPTION

· The NCV8853 is an automotive-grade, non-synchronous buck controller designed to drive an external P-channel MOSFET.

· It features peak current mode control with internal slope compensation and includes an internal regulator for gate driver charge supply.

· The device offers comprehensive protection features such as internal soft-start, undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and hiccup-mode overcurrent and short-circuit protection.

· Adjustable output with 800 mV ±2.0% reference voltage.
