DESCRIPTION

· SC2442 and SC2442H are high-performance dual buck converter controllers designed for efficient synchronous buck applications.

· Both controllers operate out of phase to reduce input ripple and require fewer input capacitors.

· They support high-frequency operation up to 1.1 MHz, minimizing the size of output inductors and capacitors.

· Separate power pins for VCC and GND enhance noise immunity.

· The VCC supply can be regulated to 7V using an external PNP transistor.

· They feature bootstrapping for high side drive supplies, asynchronous mode start up, and power up sequencing to prevent latch-ups.

· Each converter has an individual soft start, bootstrapped drivers for high side N-channel MOSFETs, and input side current sensing.

· They include dual mode current limit with hiccup, enable, and external frequency synchronization.
