DESCRIPTION

· The ISL97635 is a digitally controlled 8-channel LED driver designed for LCD backlight applications.
· It can drive up to 72 LEDs (3.5V/30mA each) or 80 LEDs (3.2V/20mA each).
· Features dynamic headroom control to minimize voltage headroom and power loss.
· Supports SMBus, external PWM, and DC input for dimming control.
· Includes extensive protection functions such as open/short-circuit detection, OVP, OTP, and thermal shutdown.
· Operates from -40°C to +85°C with an input voltage range of 6V to 24V.
